Louis Vuitton’s KL flagship store was looking for motorised curtains to add a touch of grandeur in their sales gallery, jewellery display, back-of-house, and VIP waiting areas. Therefore, after noticing Curtain Library’s top-notch craftsmanship in the hotel industry, our consultants were tasked to advise and supply the store with the right curtain sets. For the main hall, a set of sheer curtains was installed at their windows to fully utilise the natural light that the areas received, creating a slightly dimmed atmosphere. They had also wanted motorised curtain tracks paired with high-quality curtains as a space divider for between the sales gallery and jewellery display area.
Besides that, for the main hall of the sales gallery, the client had requested for double-stitched sheer curtains measured to hover just above the floor. This is known in the industry giving curtains “the perfect touch”. The curtains were to be used as dividers of the room as well, therefore it was important for them to have the fabric pattern shown on both sides of the curtains. Still, this project was not without its challenges, as the perfect touch required very precise measurements. Our research and design team came up with a practical solution to the problem: adjustable curtain hooks that allowed the in-store personnel to adjust the height of the curtains to their liking.
The final look of the curtains gave the store’s areas the grand and opulent look they were going for. As these areas were to receive and serve elite socialites looking for accessories to complete their look, as well as live up to Louis Vuitton’s reputation as a high-end brand.
