When Google Malaysia was setting up their office, they needed to match Google’s reputation for wild and fun interior design. So, to realise this vision, the team got an interior designer from M Moser Associates to come up with a lively and exotic office space. They wanted it to be expressed through colours and textiles, so they reached out to Curtain Library by Crystalace for our collection of materials. This is a standout project for our team as well, as our tailor’s expertise was used to create fabric installations for the premise.
More specifically, we designed and created padded wall panels, sofas, cushions, and upholsteries for their office, meeting rooms, lecture rooms, and discussion rooms. With our wide collection of fabric patterns and textures, we gave the space a lively jungle atmosphere The highlight of these projects was in our reimagining of their logo. To bring Malaysian culture into the fabric installation piece, we decided that this is best reflected through the use of batik print with its colours arranged according to Google’s colours.
The resulting look from this fabric installation project expressed the wild, creative, and diverse minds that work at Google Malaysia. We’re proud to have been part of the team behind Malaysia’s coolest office.
