KLGCC Resort is a high-end golf residence by Sime Darby Property that needed two outstanding show units that best encapsulates the decadent luxury the residence stands for. SQFT Space Design, the design team behind this project, engaged with Curtain Library for help in finding the right curtains for their windows and fabric materials for loose furnishings. They needed something that was elegantly modern, with a sophisticated and classic touch. Therefore, our design team came together with a plan for darker themed soft furnishings to decorate all rooms of the show units.
Firstly, we planned for a two-in-one curtain set combination that featured specially tailored French pleat-with-sheer curtain sets to furnish the bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchen. The French pleated curtains are made of smooth and dense linen with satin finishing material while our sheer curtains featured velvet edges that enhanced the elegance of the home. We should also mention that a similar velvety material was used in the loose furnishings as well, giving a very harmonious overall look to the residence. These loose furnishings include throw pillows, cushions, benches, and bed heads. To give the kitchen access to natural light easier, we installed black Venetian blinds that gave a modern but classic look. This project took around two weeks to finish, much to our client’s pleasure and was ready for the show soon after.
