The Mews, KLCC is a joint-venture luxury condo development by E&O Bhd and Mitsui Fudosan Group. The lead designer, Farina Bakti, is a famous Malaysian-made interior designer from Blanc Interiors that worked with Curtain Library to furnish the interiors of a show unit. She wanted to accentuate the luxury in living-with only the best-made products.
To meet the criteria set by the client, we introduced 100% blackout curtains made with our exclusive Helsinki Collection fabric, paired with sheer curtains. We should mention that we also specially tailored their sheer curtains with velvet edge finishings to have a more larger-than-life feeling. The fabric itself provides a modern-yet-classic design to the show unit. These curtains were installed in the living room, master bedroom, and two children’s concept bedrooms, while black Venetian Blinds were given to the kitchen area to create a hip and modern look to it.
The duration of this project was done within a month from the initial planning and consultation, just in time for the viewing and showroom launch. The designer was thrilled at the final outcome of the curtains, and this show unit did so well in their viewing that it found a new homeowner not long after.
