Four Seasons Penthouse/Residence, Kuala Lumpur

The Four Seasons Penthouse is a high-end luxury residence owned by His Highness the Sultan of Selangor. As a property of the palace, the penthouse is reserved to accommodate foreign diplomats and friends of His Highness who are looking for places to rent while on a trip in Malaysia. With that in mind, the team behind the penthouse makes it a routine to change the curtains to better welcome their guests. To keep up with hospitality trends, the designer of this project engaged with Curtain Library to provide luxurious tailor-made curtains for the new visitors that were coming from the Spanish embassy. 

To meet the requirements set by our clients, we had to pull out the best of the best from our library’s collection. This ranges from introducing quality wooden blinds to the bathrooms and specialty curtains from our private collection. In fact, for this project, we brought out our coveted Dutch double-stitched sheer curtains from our private collection to give the perfect finish to all the windows of the house.  These sheer curtains are special as they are made with in a more traditional way, unique to our tailors’ repertoire. To bring the quality of our product one step further, we introduced our Kirov Motorised Curtains and paired the sheer curtains with dimout and blackout curtains in the common areas and bedrooms respectively. Our Kirov Motorised Curtains are state-of-the-art remote-controlled tracks that seamlessly pull curtains in a smooth and silent operation. They even have a built-in safety mechanism that stops in their tracks when they detect an unusual increase in force needed to pull the curtain, to protect the motor and fabric materials from wear and tear.

After our finalised plans from our consultations with His Highness’ team, we were able to complete the whole project of tailoring and installing these curtains and blinds within a month’s time. Both the guests and the team were very pleased with the results of the project as the curtains created a very comfortable but royal finishing touch to their rooms.
