Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah, Kedah

Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah is a family-friendly seaside hotel that was looking for an urban touch to their interior design. Their award-winning urban design firm ZDR decided to engage with Curtain Library to be a part of the team in tailoring the luxurious designer curtains to around 300-400 rooms and suites. They wanted something that made the environment comforting and relaxing- curtains that perfectly framed the seaside view that the majority of the rooms overlook. 

With that in mind, our consultant guided the designers in picking the perfect fabric material and colours that best compliment their overall theme. In our final consultation, we decided on curtains from our Travis dimout collection, paired with designer sheer curtains. These curtains had a very chic purple colour with blue borders that almost blend in with the soft blue colours of an island mountain’s shadow that sits at the edge of the horizon of the seaside view. We tailored their curtain header with a traditional French pleat method to create a fuller and flowy experience. This pleat style is well-known in the industry for giving nice waves to the curtain’s look. 

This whole project took about 4 months to complete, with our clients being very impressed at our ability to provide amazingly elegant dimout-with-sheer curtain sets to all rooms without missing the project deadline.
